Award Criteria

Honouring an individual youth ages 5-25, who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to the community through direct financial support, development of charitable programs, volunteering and leadership in philanthropy. (Not open to groups or multiple youth).

Describe fundraising initiatives – include items such as process, goal, time, talent required to achieve initiative, results that were achieved, and other people involved in the process (adult leaders / advisors if applicable). (0-40 points)(required)

Describe the impact the nominee had on the community, including numbers of people involved, financial impact, organizations helped, etc. (0-40 points)(required)

Long term (1-2 years) impact on the nominee’s initiative. Will the project(s) be ongoing and has the nominee considered next steps? Can this serve as a prototype for others? (0-20 points)(required)
